The courses are held in a spacious Georgian house in a small market town on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon.  There are a great many wood and moorland walks within easy reach.

There are en-suite bedrooms, some with bath and some with shower. Most of the rooms have double beds and one a large single. The excellent food is all freshly cooked and the produce locally sourced where possible. The food is mostly vegetarian, with the addition of fresh fish, and chicken.No red meat. Regrettably, special diets cannot be catered for.  Homemade cakes, freshly ground coffee, homemade preserves and good wine all add to the warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere. There is a grand piano which welcomes pianists of any level.

Parking can be found in the town car park a short walk away, where there is a daily charge. The nearest railway station is Newton Abbot. There is a good train service from London Paddington. The nearest airport is Exeter.
