These courses are held in Rosie’s home, a spacious Georgian house in a small market town on the edge of Dartmoor in Devon.

The nearest railway station is Newton Abbot. There is a good train service from London Paddington. The nearest airport is Exeter.

Yes, in fact courses are run on a residential-only basis. There are en-suite bedrooms, some with bath and some with shower. Most of the rooms have double beds, and one is a large single.

Yes, breakfast and supper are both provided. All food is freshly cooked locally sourced produce as much as possible. The food is mostly vegetarian, with the addition of fresh fish and chicken (no red meat). Regrettably, special diets cannot be catered for.  Homemade cakes, freshly ground coffee, homemade preserves and good wine all add to the warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Lunch is enjoyed at a nearby cafe, which serves delicious, home cooked food. The cost of lunch is not included in the course price.

Parking can be found in the town car park a short walk away, where there is a daily charge.

Course attendeees should bring their usual paints, brushes, pencils, etc.  Those wishing to try acrylics, should bring a tube of Titanium white, Ultramarine, Yellow ochre and Burnt umber.

Watercolour and printmaking paper can be purchased. Drawing boards, cartridge and tracing paper is provided.

Printmaking and book making materials, such as inks, rags, newsprint, tools, decorative papers, board, etc are available. A charge will be made per book or print to cover the cost.

Masterclasses are charged at £1300, which includes 3 nights of accommodation, 2 days of training, and meals as detailed above.

Full payment is required within fourteen days upon booking to secure your place. Payment is non-refundable except in exceptional circumstances therefore we suggest you take out adequate holiday insurance at the time of booking to ensure you are covered in the event that you are unable to attend your course.
